Nunavut RCMP investigators fly to Pangnirtung following discovery of two dead bodies

Major crimes and forensic investigators from the Nunavut RCMP flew to Pangnirtung Jan. 10 following the discovery of two dead bodies at a residence in the community.

Supt. Hilton Smee told reporters Jan. 10 that the two deceased persons are a man and a woman.

In a release, the Nunavut RCMP said local police were called to a residence just after midnight Jan. 10, where they found the bodies.

The names of the deceased persons have yet to be released.
