Nunavut’s environment department seeks fish, seal recipes

Do you have a delicious char, turbot or seal recipe to share?

If you do, Nunavut’s environment department would like you to submit your recipe for a chance to be featured in its upcoming cookbook.


Recipes can be traditional or modern, for any meal of the day, and include everything from full meals to sauces, drying methods, appetizers, snacks or camping favorites.

Your personal consent is needed for recipes, photos and for your name to be publicized in the final book, the department said Feb. 2.

Recipe submissions will be accepted until 
Feb. 27.

And every person who submits a recipe will receive a “Nunavut’s Truly Wild — Arctic Char” 
tote bag.
