Open thank you letter from the REACH committee

The REACH Fundraising Committee would like to extend a sincere thank you to Canadian North, the NCC Group and Qikiqtaaluk Corp. for generously sponsoring the 2014 Charity Ball.

At the charity ball, $52,393.75 was raised for REACH, Iqaluit’s fundraising campaign for the new aquatic centre.

This partnership is a great example of businesses coming together for the community. These companies have demonstrated their commitment to the health and well-being of Iqaluit’s children and youth.

The event was a large success. It quickly sold out and many other businesses and individuals contributed through donations and other support. Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner, followed by live and silent auctions and entertained by the Beatrice Deer Band.

Canadian North, NCC and Qikiqtaaluk Corp. are known for their commitment to our community and have once again demonstrated leadership by making this event possible.
