Photo: The moon rises over Ivujivik

Photographer and frequent visitor to Nunavik, Gilles Boutin, snapped this photo of two mushers and their dogs outside the village of Ivujivik last winter. The former police officer from Lévis, Quebec is about to release a new book called À la découverte du Nunavik (Discovering Nunavik), a collection of photos and stories showing the region’s different villages, landscape and Inuit culture.
