An unusual sight: a grizzly bear swims in the waters in front of Cambridge Bay Aug. 6 attracting many curious — and fearful — onlookers. Local hunters later killed the bear and distributed the meat to people in this western Nunavut community. (PHOTO BY MALLORY EHALOAK)
