Raymond Kaslak’s, daughter, Meagan Kaslak, likes going for hikes and recently found this block of ice about the size of a desk beached at Grise Fiord. Here’s part of what Raymond wrote to us in an email: “The interior looks like a cavern with what looks like freeze-thaw cycle patterns over several years. It seems like a piece of ice broke off from a larger iceberg… maybe a climatologist or an expert can identify exactly what happened.
