Photo: A new logo for Nunavik’s health board

The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services launched its new logo this week. The image, designed by Ivujivik-based graphic artist Thomassie Mangiok, is meant to reflect “connectivity and togetherness,” said the health board Sept. 1, and “working towards strengthening the well-being of Nunavimmiut.” The logo’s unveiling took place in Kuujjuaq Aug. 31 during a visit from Quebec’s health minister Dr. Gaétan Barrette, who is touring the region this week.
