Photo: A taste of Arctic song

Pauline Nakasuk (left) and Avery Keenainak of Nunavut Sivuniksavut throat singing at the March 7 Taste of the Arctic event, held at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The event is hosted annually every spring by Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami to celebrate Arctic food and culture. Chefs at the NAC prepare gourmet, buffet style delectables using traditional foods such as char, maktaaq, muskox, caribou.
