Dewailly, whose research focused on Inuit health and contaminants in the Arctic food web, died suddenly in an accident last summer. “Éric helped tell the research world that (Inuit) keeping to our diet of country foods was the right thing to do,” he said. “The Inuit of Canada are now better informed and healthier because of him.” Arctic Change 2014 runs until Dec. 12.
