Photo: AA lands in Iqaluit

An American Airlines Boeing 777 sits on the tarmac at Iqaluit’s airport early in the afternoon of Sept. 4 after the aircraft made an emergency landing due a medical emergency on board. The aircraft, en route to Los Angeles from London, landed just before noon. No passengers have been seen leaving the aircraft, but an ambulance was on scene when the flight landed.
