Paul Laserich, 52, the general manager of Adlair Aviation, who grew up in Cambridge Bay, died Nov. 19 of natural causes in Yellowknife. Adlair, which is based in Cambridge Bay, had recently lost its appeal against the Government of Nunavut’s decision to award the medevac contract in the Kitikmeot region to Aqsaqniq Airways Ltd., a firm based in Taloyoak.
