By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

Adventurer Vincent Cochin tests out equipment he'll be using on an 80-day trek from Kugaaruk to Qaanaaq, Greenland. Cochin set out on the 2,300-km journey March 3 and if he makes it, he will break the record for the longest unsupported, unassisted polar journey. Using only skis and snowshoes, Cochin will be alone the entire time. Production company Moosetash Films is making a documentary about the journey with footage before and after. Learn more about Cochin and the documentary later on NunatsiaqOnline.ca. (PHOTO COURTESY OF JOSEPHINE ANDERSON)
