Clear skies gave way overnight to whiteout conditions on the morning of Wednesday, March 28 in Iqaluit, as forecasted snows and high winds caused the City of Iqaluit to suspend services until shortly before 2 p.m. The city still advised residents that only limited services had been restored. “Caution is still required as many streets have yet to be cleared,” said a city advisory.
