Students from Nanook school in Apex celebrate May 29 the partial re-opening of the bridge that connects their community to the rest of Iqaluit. The bridge has been closed for repairs since the beginning of winter. Now, the city of Iqaluit says passengers, cars and light pick-up trucks can use the bridge again, but larger trucks and school buses should continue to use the by-pass road until permanent repairs are completed.
