Photo: Arctic Council event celebrates the best of the edible Arctic

As part of the Arctic Council’s Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) meetings in Kuujjuaq this week, delegates and Kuujjuammiut gathered to have a taste of different country foods from around the Arctic at en evening event Feb. 12. The offerings included Iceland smoked lamb, dried cod and haddock, pickled ram testicles, herring and British Columbia and Alaska wild sockeye salmon. The meeting wrapped up Feb. 13.
