Arviat cultural group Qaggiqtiit performs for tourists in October 2013. Arviat Community Ecotourism won an international tourism award April 24 from the World Travel and Tourism Council. Arviat picked up the WTTC’s community award, which looks to organizations that offer sustainable tourism leadership, local community development, empowerment and cultural heritage.
