Photo: Astro Theatre is back

Movie buffs in Iqaluit can breathe a sigh of relief: the city’s Astro Theatre reopened March 16 after remaining closed for nearly a week. While theatre owner Bryan Pearson did not want to comment on the reasons he shut the theatre’s doors last weekend, he’s said to have been discouraged by poor attendance at some recent film showings.
