During a visit to the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit museum in Iqaluit, Quentin Bryce, Governor-General of Australia, stands with Nunavut Premier Eva Aariak against a backdrop of traditional aboriginal Australian sculptures, given to Nunavummiut by Bryce who was on her first visit to the territory. Bryce visited Iqaluit on April 6 to April 7, where she participated in an roundtable on aboriginal economic development, met with local VIPs, spent time with the Canadian Rangers and toured the Qikiqtani General Hospital.
