Team Nunavik-Quebec’s Open Male Hand Games team competes against Yukon for the gold ulu at the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon. The team ended up with the silver ulu, one of seven ulus the team earned in Dene Games competitions on March 8. At the end of the AWG on March 10, Team Nunavik Quebec had a total of 36 ulus, including 10 gold ulus, 14 silver ulus and 12 bronze ulus, while Team Nunavut had earned 49 ulus, including five gold ulus, 16 silver ulus and 28 bronze ulus.
