Photo: Ben and Nuki, meet them in a new children’s book

Ben, who lives in a big southern city, and Nuki, who lives in an Arctic community, chat about life in this page from a new children’s book by Michelle Valberg, called “Ben and Nuki Discover Polar Bears.” Valberg will sign copies of the book Oct. 22 in a fashion show benefit in Ottawa for the not-for-profit Project North organization, which has sent more than 350,000 pieces of hockey equipment to Nunavut since 2009.
