Some of the 26 participants in the Aug. 10 “Women on the Land” berry picking excursion show off the fruits of their labours. The day-long trip was organized by the local community health clinic, the Ungava Tulattavik health centre and the Tunngasuvvik Women’s Shelter, which promoted the day as a “great opportunity to share discussions among generations about topics that touch women” and pick the plentiful aqpik or cloudberries now in season.
