Inuksuk High School in Iqaluit called off classes for the day and sent all students and staff home after the school received another bomb threat just before 11:00 a.m., Oct. 9. RCMP were finishing up their search of the building at the end of the lunch hour. The anonymous threat and evacuation was at least the school's third since the school year started, said RCMP Sgt. Yvonne Niego. She said police plan to work with the school, local daycare and parents to come up with a plan to address the issue.

Vice principal Romeyn Stevenson said classes will resume tomorrow, Oct. 10. (PHOTO BY PETER VARGA)
