Photo: Calling all Kuujjuaraapik photographers

Mina Esperon won the jury’s second prize in Umiujaq’s 2010 photo contest with this photo showing a spectacular sunset. This year people who live in the Nunavik community of Kuujjuaraapik can submit photos around the theme “what is your favourite landscape?” by Aug. 12. France’s polar institute is sponsoring the contest as part of a research project aboriginal perceptions of landscapes. (FILE PHOTO)
