Photo: Calm before the next storm?

A misty monotone sunrise over Iqaluit’s old cemetery on the beach front. Nunavut’s capital has been clear and cold for the past week but the weather is about to turn, again. A winter storm watch is in effect for tomorrow, according to Environment Canada, with winds picking up tonight and a blizzard expected to blow in over night. The City of Iqaluit has been forced to shut down twice in the past two weeks because of blizzards but tomorrow’s weather prediction doesn’t seem so fierce. Yet. (PHOTO BY THOMAS ROHNER)
