Jason Akoluk and Kalina Koblogina of Cambridge Bay put on a drum dance workshop Feb. 12 in Inuksuk High School’s music room. Their workshop for 20 students was part of the Qaggiavuut Society’s arts summit, which has brought performers from across Nunavut to Iqaluit to discuss about the importance of the arts in Nunavut. If you're in Iqaluit, you can also see the Cambridge Bay drummers and dancers perform along with others at the summit Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. at Inuksuk High School.
