Breastfeeding moms and their babies, along with community midwives and Wellness Centre staff, turned out Oct. 1 in Cambridge Bay for the “Breastfeeding Challenge,” an event which challenges communities to have the most mothers, as a percentage of their birthrate, breastfeeding simultaneously in one place. The Oct. 1 event marked the beginning of Breastfeeding Week across Canada.
