The GN’s health and social services department has already moved to implement a plan, which would see a pharmacy technician (already in place in Cambridge Bay), consulting with a long-distance pharmacist to distribute medications at the Kitikmeot health centre and in the region’s other communities. Look to discussions in the Nunavut legislature for clues about the future of the Kitnuna Pharmacy — the only place in Cambridge Bay to buy medications and some over-the-counter products or to develop photos.
