Generous donors, volunteers — and consumers — attend a coffee house fundraiser for the male and female Wolverines youth basketball teams Feb. 15 at the community hall in Cambridge Bay. Snacks and beverages were available for sale and local musicians Scary Bear Soundtrack, Musk Ox Rodeo and Bob Aknavigak provided live entertainment. Angela Philips, who helped organize the event with Sheila Conroy and Debbie Gray, said this is one of several fundraisers held throughout the year to pay for equipment and out-of-town tournaments and camps. The coffee house raised just over $2,000. (PHOTO BY RED SUN PRODUCTIONS)
