Nuka Olsen-Hakongak, an Alberta-based flight attendant with Canadian North, sits in the middle of this group of Killinik high school students during a visit to her hometown of Cambridge Bay this past winter. Olsen-Hakongak gave a presentation to grade 9 students there about working as a flight attendant. “It was also a chance to open pathways to the youth to show that there are lots of opportunity outside of the North while still being very connected – aviation in the North is very special that way,” Olsen-Hakongak said.
