Happy Canada from Iqaluit! Residents are decked out in their best red and white July 1 for the city’s parade marking Canada’s 151st birthday.
Following the parade, the fire department served up free chili just up the street from an annual Arctic Ventures Canada Day BBQ.
Sparky the Fire Dog and the Canadian North mascot had high fives for everyone, while kids enjoyed a blow-up bouncy castle and face painting. (PHOTO BY BETH BROWN)
