Junior Canadian Rangers from the Kuujjuaq patrol learn to tie knots as part of weekend activities May 31 that included preparing traditional meals, air rifle shooting and outdoor games hosted outside the Nunavik community. Later this month, about 275 Junior Rangers – 80 of them from Nunavik – will take part in a cadet summer training program in Valcartier, Que., hosted by the 2nd Canadian Ranger Patrol Group.
