Arctic Ram, the annual high Arctic cold weather training exercise is unfolding now on Cornwallis Island near Resolute Bay until Feb. 22. As part of this year's disaster scenario, roughly 120 personnel from Edmonton, Alta., are parachuting to a mock crash scene of a downed satellite. Another 120 soldiers from Winnipeg, Man., were scheduled to trek to the wreckage site overland from the Armed Forces Arctic Training Centre near Resolute’s airport.
