Photo: Cape Dorset youth make their statement on a wall

Artists Saaki Nuna,14, and Tommy Quvianaqtuliaq,14, of Cape Dorset, goof around on a 28 C day in front of a mural they helped design and paint in downtown Montreal. The mural’s theme “Qanuqtuurniq,” suggests innovation or resourcefulness. The mural, created with the help of facilitators from the Embassy of Imagination, Alexa Hatanaka and Patrick Thompson, was unveiled in front of an audience of participants, media and spectators, including South Baffin MLA David Joanasie, at 2360 Ontario St. E. in Montreal.
