Sand coats an Iqaluit road Oct. 17 after snow and relatively warm temperatures made roads slippery in Nunavut’s capital city. The condition of Iqaluit’s roads will come under scrutiny next May when hundreds of motor transportation officials and industry representatives come to the city for the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators’ annual meeting.
