A kindergarten student from Nanook Elementary School hangs an ornament on a Christmas tree at the Nunavut Legislative Assembly in Iqaluit Dec. 4. All elementary schools in Iqaluit decorated a tree at the legislature. A Christmas lights ceremony will be held Dec. 5 in the legislative assembly's parking lot for the 15th consecutive year. Treats will be served at 5 p.m. and the ceremony begins at shortly afterward.
