The Norwegian ambassador to Canada, Else Berit Eikeland, visited Iqaluit Feb.28 to give a lecture on Norway’s High North Strategy at the Unikkaarvik Visitors Centre. The lecture related to the current photo exhibit at the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum called Cold Recall — Reflections from the Northwest Passage, sponsored by the Norwegian embassy. The exhibit features photos from the time when explorer Roald Amundsen lived at Gjoa Haven, from 1903 to 1905. (PHOTO BY DEAN MORRISON)
