Nunavut celebrity chef Rebecca Veevee was a special guest and instructor for a series of healthy cooking classes in Kuujjuaraapik,  last week, part of the annual Nunavik Nutrition and Community Cooking Training. When she wasn't posing for photos with fans in the airport and throughout the community, Veevee taught a group of 25 community health workers and collective kitchen organizers the basics of nutrition and how to prepare simple, healthy meals. The event was organized by the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services in collaboration with Kuujjuaraapik's Tasiurvik family house.
