Photo: Cue the music: Alianait festival ready to go this weekend

Iqaluit may be the place of many fish, but this weekend, it becomes the place of many talents. Alianait, Nunavut's largest annual music and arts festival is set to unfold from June 26 to July 1 here, at the big top tent, and other locations around the city. Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Myles returns to play alongside Greenland indie rockers Nanook and New York's Appalachia-gone-Afro-Brazilian sensation Matuto. Children will be sure to enjoy Treehouse stars Bobs and LoLo. Find details at www.alianait.ca. (PHOTO BY DAVID MURPHY)
