Donald Clark of Rankin inlet helps spread the ketchup for the younger ones during the Happy Fathers Day BBQ held June 15 in Rankin Inlet by Pulaarvik Kablu Friendship Centre of Rankin Inlet — in advance of June 16, Father’s Day. Pulaarvik Kablu Friendship Centre, the only friendship centre in Nunavut, offers 13 to 15 programs, which benefit the residents of Rankin Inlet and the Kivalliq region, including counselling, teaching traditional skills and providing the local school bus service.
