Photo: Dancing up a storm with the Jerry Cans

Iqaluit’s darlings, The Jerry Cans, were a crowd favourite at Nunavik’s annual Aqpik Jam music festival in Kuujjuaq Aug. 12, ending their set with the popular hit, “Mamaqtuq,” which drew them back on stage for an encore. The Aug. 13 line-up featured a couple of pop tribute bands — to Beyoncé and Rhianna — plus performances by Inuk, William Tagoona and comedian Don Burnstick. The festival wraps up tonight.
