Photo: Dog sled team pulls into Kuujjuaq’s Tasialuk

Samuel Hamel-Ratté celebrates a third-place win in an Easter dog sled race held April 21 at Kuujjuaq’s Tasialuk (Stewart Lake). Hamel-Ratté competed against five other local mushers, who each run a team of four dogs 20 kilometres from Tasialuk across to Tasirlaq, an adjacent lake. Hamel-Ratté took home a $300 prize.
