Photo: Don’t bug me, I’m chillin’

A fox pup rests in the warm Sanikiluaq sunshine Aug. 16 about five kilometres outside of town. According to our contributer, the fox had a sibling that was shy and stayed away but this one was unperturbed by the human presence and even came up to the photographer while she was picking berries. Foxes are common on the Belcher Islands where Sanikiluaq, Nunavut’s most southerly community, is located. (PHOTO BY SARAH MEEKO)
