Students in Grade 1 class at Iqaluit’s Joamie School work on their April 22 “Earth Day promises” with green hand prints and their teacher. Some of their promises: picking up garbage, taking shorter baths or showers, walking or biking more often, recycling and reusing things, using less water and taking care of the animals.
