Elisapie Isaac takes the stage July 20 at Kangirsuk’s annual Arctic Char Festival. The Salluit-raised and Montreal-based had Kangirsumiut on their feet dancing for both sets she played during the five-day music festival, one of Nunavik’s best-known cultural events. Other festival performers included Jaaji Okpik of Twin Flames, Keenainak Saali and the Ravenhearts, Tim Evic and accordion player Simeonie Keenainak. The festival wraps up July 22.
