Maggie Pootoo Saviadjuk and Quppia Kaitak from the Salluit Co-operative Association hold up the Davidee Naluktuk trophy they received last week when the Fédération des Coopératives du Nouveau-Quebec held its annual general meeting in Salluit. The award, named after one of the founders of the co-operative movement in Nunavut, recognizes the co-op for being “supportive” over the past five years.
