Kitikmeot Foods staff unload Arctic char in Cambridge Bay July 19 that were harvested from Paliryuak (Surrey) River. Kitikmeot Foods Ltd. hires about 12 local fishers every summer who begin fishing at Surrey River and then move on to Halokvik (Thirty Mile), Ekalluktok and finally Jayco rivers for a total quota of 93,880 lbs of dressed Arctic char.
