This owl-decorated 737 did land in Kuujjuaq last week, although it was several hours late. First Air’s flights to and from Kuujjuaq and Iqaluit have been suffereing from delays, mainly due to mechanical issues, and rerouting for the past two to three weeks, acknowledged airline vice-president Chris Ferris on March 12. Now the airline is looking at a variety of solutions, such as positioning an on-board mechanic who can deal with some mechanical problems.
