Pangnirtung MLA Hezakiah Oshutapik told the Nunavut legislature March 1 that the Pangnirtung Fisheries Ltd.’s turbot fishing season is off to a strong
start: the community’s turbot fishery has pulled in almost 200,000 pounds of turbot since the season began Jan. 21. “We’ve been informed that both
