Photo: Flash mob visits Iqaluit’s airport April 16

Iqaluit residents — and air travellers — got a chance to see what a flash mob looks like April 16, when Christine “Li’l Bear” Lamothe led a group of dancers in an impromptu noon-hour performance near the arrivals area of the Iqaluit airport. Rahda Jetty and Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory choreographed and taught the dancers. A flash mob is a group of people, gathered together via Facebook, email or text messaging, who show up suddenly at a public place to perform an activity together. (PHOTO BY JIM BELL)
