Photo: Forest fires burns outside of Nunavik community

Photographer Isabelle Dubois shot this aerial photo June 22 of a forest fire burning a few kilometres outside of Kuujjuaq, in an area known as the range. Firefighters and local Rangers helped to make a trench around the fire earlier today, while fire and water trucks remain on standby. Municipal officials are also working on bringing in a water bomber to help douse the flames. Residents are asked to tune into the local FM radio for updates. (PHOTO BY ISABELLE DUBOIS)
